Veridion Technology ("we", "our", "us") built HOABoard as an iOS application. This page informs you about our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use HOABoard.
HOABoard stores all community data — residents, violations, photos, events, and settings — locally on your device only. No account registration or cloud sync is required. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it (for example, exporting a report).
HOABoard uses your device's GPS for field reporting and nearby address discovery. Location data is:
Address discovery uses Apple's MapKit framework. When you tap "Discover Nearby Addresses," queries are sent to Apple Maps. Apple's privacy policy applies: apple.com/legal/privacy.
If you configure a Regrid API token in Settings, tapping "Look Up Owner" sends the property address to Regrid's servers to query public parcel records. Only the street address, city, state, and ZIP code are transmitted — no personal information about you or your device. Regrid's privacy policy: regrid.com/privacy.
HOABoard accesses your camera and photo library only when you explicitly take or attach a photo to a violation record. Photos are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to any server.
HOABoard is designed for professional use by HOA board members and property managers. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
